There are several ways that you could do this, just make sure that you do it properly or else you could mess up the chocolate. You could try melting it on the stove, in the microwave oven or a gas oven. If you wanted to use the stove in melting the chocolate all you have to do is put the chocolate on a heat resistant bowl and place it over a saucepan filled with simmering water. When doing this should make sure that there’s no water or steam that would enter the bowl of chocolate because if it does it will screw up your chocolates. Stir it continuously. But if you want to use the microwave oven, you should place the chocolate in a clean and dry microwavable bowl. Microwave it for 1 minute and then stir it. Cook it for another 30 seconds and stir it again until all the chocolate has melted properly. That as the proper way of melting homemade chocolate.
