Chocolate Of the Month
I am the type of person who neglects the idea of joining various clubs since I do not have
much time to attend meetings, parties and what-not. Not only do I neglect joining but never in my life have I been
interested in joining such. The idea of joining a certain club didn’t struck me at all till my 30th birthday came.
My twin brother announced to me that he and his friends have joined a club that might change my views about joining
one, specifically the chocolate of the month club. Along with his announcement is a membership package that he gave
to me as a birthday present. Even though I was hesitant to accept it at first, I can not deny the fact that I do
love chocolates and being a member of such club that I never knew is existing could be pretty interesting.
After a couple of days, I was surprised when I received a package from the club. It is a package full of chocolates
and so I called my brother and inquired if it is a common thing for members to receive such. Later then I found out
that the club is sending packages of chocolates during holidays and the chocolates are themed with the current
holiday as well.
What is more surprising is that the club is not sending typical or ordinary chocolates. They are giving chocolates
that are unique in taste and appearance. The membership that I got from my brother is good for three months and
will be due next week. I am not confused on whether I will continue my membership or not because I am certain to
purchase another membership on or before my due date.
I have already made some research on how I could join the chocolate of the month club and I found out that there is
a variety of chocolate of the month club that I could join and each club caters different chocolates and would not
restrict joining as many chocolate of the month club as I wish to.
Some of my friends asked me if it is expensive to avail such membership and when I think about it, the amount of
chocolates and the class of chocolates that I received from my membership is something that would cost more money
if I would try and get them myself than paying for a membership on the club.
Another good thing about it is you do not know what to expect on each month that you will receive a package from
the club. They seem to be very unpredictable which excites me pretty much.
My father’s birthday is coming and I and my brother talked about giving him a Chocolate of the month membership
package as well. We are certain that mom and dad would enjoy the membership as it worked for me considering that I
am a club hater before. I am really thankful that I have an adventurous brother who does not back down from
experiencing different and weird stuffs.
